  • Absolutely! Please fill out the enquiry form on the Design your event page. Discounts are available for large groups.

  • Use of the horse wash bays and the guest bathroom and kitchenette are complimentary. Use of the covered or open yards are included in the arena or XC day fees. All other facilities require prior booking.

  • Yes you can. Yard (open or covered) fees must be separately paid for each companion horse. (Yard fees are already included in the arena or XC day fees for the ridden horses.)

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome at OEC but must remain on leads at all times.

  • Our address is 67 Douch Road, Ōhaupō. 

    •  Do NOT follow the Google Map directions!  They will take you to the neighbour's cow shed.

    • On State Highway 1 (SH1) north or south, take the Mystery Creek/Airport exit

    • From Hamilton Airport head towards Ohaupo/Te Awamutu

    • Just before the 70km sign into Ohaupo, turn right onto Douch Road. It comes up fast!

      • Kaipaki Road (to Cambridge) is on left. 

      • You will come up a slight rise just before it. 

    • Turn left on the bottom of Douch road just off the seal onto a long poplar-lined driveway.

      • There is a Fiber Fresh sign at the gate. 

    • Head through the security gates at the top (they will be open). 

    • Just after security gates, turn a hard right past the old cowshed to the truck park.

  • Yes they're very welcome to come.

  • You can for a short period of time if you’re staying overnight at OEC, for example to grab a quick dinner. But please make sure to let us know via the Contact us form and be contactable by phone in case anything happens to your horse while you’re not on the property.

     

    Besides this and unless by prior arrangement, you must stay with your horse during your visit.

  • Please report this using the Incident Report form. It's essential that all breakages are reported so that the equipment can be repaired. Help us to help you and others stay safe!

  • Once through our gate, please follow the signs to the parking area which is next to the indoor arena.

  • The muck heap is next to the row of covered yards, on the edge of the parking area.

  • Yes you can. You can camp in your horse float or truck for a fee. A guest bathroom and kitchenette are available for you to use.

     

    There is also an apartment (sleeps 2), luxury bunkhouse (sleeps 4) and 5-bedroom farmhouse available – please enquire.
